LCC Community Fund - COVID support

Forever Savvy are delighted and relieved to be awarded a grant from Leicester County Council to help us with the rising costs of COVID-19.

This fund will go a long way providing a welfare programme in the community for our trainees as they learn to cope with the demands of the National lockdown we are all undergoing as a result of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

We are now able to:

• Produce a Live Facebook stream Monday to Friday to our trainees to join in activities from home. https://www.facebook.com/foreversavvysupport/

• Make daily welfare calls to our trainees

• Provide safe social walks in the community

• Provide assistance with shopping

• Provide assistance with picking up prescriptions

• Provide IT equipment to our trainees for safe access to the internet

• Provide group and 1 to 1 support over Zoom video conferencing.
